Can you please share your egg routine?

wow. My routine is pretty dang simple compared to all of you!

I feed/water in the morning before work and open the coop door.
Come home from work at 4PM. Let birds out of run to free range, pick up eggs, go back to the house. Sit eggs on counter until I rinse them off and put them in cartons.

Though this morning my nest box was full of baby bunnies, so that kind of threw the routine off track!

Get home from work, grab egg basket or other container that is handy, collect eggs, fill the feed trough, do a looky-lou at the birds and go back inside. Add eggs to my countertop basket....later on fill egg cartons. Wipe off any smudges with warm, wet cloth. Leave all eggs on countertop.

well, my nest boxes must be super comfy and safe-feeling! lol The bunnies have been living in the chicken run for a while. This morning when I let the birds out of the coop, all was normal. I went back a couple hours later and BOOM baby bunnies in my nest box. There are pics in the "other pet" section.

I come home from work at 8am, let the girls out in their run, collect eggs, feed the girls, put the eggs as is in a carton in the fridge, go to bed. I have 2 that lay early and 1 that prefers afternoon. I don't wash them after collecting them as they have not been dirty. I don't wash them before I use them either, but I am sure I will hear about that.

Life wake me up annoyingly early. Go outside and listen for the huhuhuhu of a duck looking for her favorite spot to lay. Drink coffee, go outside feed and water chickens, climb through brush and reach through fence to get duck egg still warm, get cussed out in quack, say thank you. Wait til the sun comes up, check the coop for eggs (found first one yesterday) wait wait wait wait for #2.

This morning I am waiting, I got two already. I looked them over....eh clean tucked them into the 18 egg carton and got my coffee. In a bit i will go out and let them out and then clean/water/fed/get more eggs? if not tell the ladies" better lay eggs or ill chew on your legs". But on the weekdays i have to race my dh out of the truck and to the coop to get eggs. I most of the time don't make it and he gets to pull out the prize eggs

, trying to convince him that water/feed/clean is better then collecting eggs! then i look them over and stick them in the carton and put them in the fridge. I have been keeping the boxes super clean so i haven't gotten any dirty eggs, got on with blood on it. no sizing and sorting for me yet. All are pullet eggs.
