Can you tell me what kind of chickens I have?

Okay, I love my chickens and I think they're pretty, but having all of you tell me how gorgeous they are just has me grinning from ear to ear. I feel like a proud grandma showing my babies off!

Actually, I guess since they're technically my daughter's chickens (though I've wanted chickens for years and I have done A LOT to care for and learn about these...) I am their grandma!

And yes, we're VERY blessed to get a free coop and free chickens. Wow. I didn't know how fun it would be. I love watching how they interact with each other.

Thanks everyone! You rock :) I told my daughter what you all said and we looked up the crele, partridge, and lemon cuckoo. She was happy to know. I can tell the two hens' eggs apart now, too.

I'm getting a little chicken fever looking at all the different pics. I never knew there were so many kinds of chickens. I love the chocolate, silver laced, lavender, and Isabel Orpingtons, and the Wyandottes. I think if we ever get a little more land, I'm going to have to have my own flock ;)

Thanks again!!! I'll be reading a lot more on here. I'm sure I'll be looking for more answers as we hope to get a broody hen soon. We now have 8 eggs...
