There's the Sarnia Degroot's Show Feb. 9
If you go to Poultry Swap Ontario, there's a whole subject on shows. This is the only current one mentioned right now. Keep watching for updates! More shows should be coming up, & this is the forum to find them! Good luck!

Hi superseeds! Welcome! Poultry Swap Ontario would be the place for finding breeders, sellers, etc,...
But THIS forum is my #1 place for info! I've found info here, I couldn't find on other sites! This forum rocks!
That being said, you still need to find local folks to get stock from! Perhaps there is a feed store near you, that takes orders for spring chicks. I did this my first 2 years. The feed store orders them from Frey's Hatchery, Millpond, etc,...they show you the catalogues. They may charge a small fee for smaller than a 8-10 chick order. They fill you out an invoice, take your deposit, then call you when chicks show up at feed store. I've gotten some great layers that way! I still have my 3 year old Black Star Hen. XL - Jumbo eggs with her, although more often XL these days. Good luck to you! It's SO much fun!

Thank you! I believe I have been on the site before. I'm mostly looking for black or blue americaunas and black copper Marans. (of course this plan changes a lot)

I have a bit of everything right now, mostly mutts.

I am planning on attending the show. Just need to see if they will accept an entry for my Euskal Oiloas as they are not a breed recognized by the APA.
