Canadians check in here....

That’s great. Was it the same as the one in the picture? Or similar? I would really like to give it a try but also don’t want to kill anything.. haha
It’s been awhile so I’m not 100% sure, but I think it was similar. Trial and error, first test it and check it every hour to see if the temperature stays the same . Don’t open the incubator though, because you’ll immediately lose heat, just peer through the window at the temperature. If the temperature stays the same optimal temp for hours on end and doesn’t get warmer and warmer then you’re set.

Okay thanks! I didn’t think about not opening it.. lol seems so simple but yet I have no experience so any info is welcomed!

I’ll be sure to try it out as soon as my ladies start laying again and I get my rooster in there.

Would his also work for duck eggs? Turkey etc.. ?!

Hey everyone :) Just wondering if anyone knows of vet around Waterloo that deals with chickens. I'm having a very hard time finding one. Even a store that has more selection on feeds and vitamins. Thanks!

How's everyone's weather right now?

So far, we have a sunny day but the last half week or so it's been crazy wind and rain! Glad to have a little break in between. Had been getting some garden prep done earlier this month but had to put it on pause for now.

Ducks started laying the other day too, our chickens who we give supplemental light to have been laying through the winter but are certainly happier on these sunny days.
