Canadians check in here....

How about some good ol' DE? I found a Canadian site but haven't ordered yet.

Hi! Welcome to the thread! :frow

I use the Carbaryl dusting powder by Domvet. It's been extremely effective for me.

Our local Co op feed store carries DE as Michelle has mentioned in the post below.
You should be able to find DE at a feed store. I bought some @ a health food store and paid way too much. Then I found it at my feed store.... 10x more for 1/2 the price.

Trying to plan for my spring sewing. I grow all from seed in my tiny greenhouse but am still able to yield 200+ plants.

Brussel sprouts didn’t fare well for us last year.. neither did the tomatoes or corn..

We like our gmo free seeds and use local manure (and home brewed from our birds and rabbits)

We have one big garden in the ground (root veg garden) and Planning to build a bunch of above ground boxes for this years crops and herbs..

What grows well in the area and what do you all recommend?! Looking for ideas and recommendations! We are NOT picky eaters and will eat what ever we cangrow!!

Hi Dan turkey-waving.gif

Are you near Hamilton then?
Welcome to BYC. It's a great place to be.
What kind of chickens do you have?

I'm 50mins from Hamilton. Closer to tri-cities. I'm planning to start a flock in the spring. Hopefully barred rocks and Columbian rocks. How about you?
Right now I've got buckeyes. I'm hoping to get chanteclers and partridge chanteclers this year as well. My big challenge right now is finding some broodies. I live off grid, so would rather not use up my power with incubators and brooders.
