Cancer might not have a cure yet, but it does have a seriously ignored CAUSE or two.

One is a diet high in carbohydrates. Flour, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, potatoes, corn, soy, rice, etc...

This is an interesting conversation.

It's easy to question the integrity of government and pharmaceuticals.
Everything causes cancer. Carpet, dies, plastics, foods, fabrics, cell phones, cigarettes, smog, cleaners, etc, etc, etc.

No wonder people have trouble taking care of themselves. I mean, I'm getting exposed to cancer right this minute from the fibers on my T-shirt, my carpet, the soap I washed my hands with, the cell phone conversation I had today, and the lunch I microwaved. Probably the radiation coming off this computer screen, too. Its hard for people feel motivated to go for that walk or eat that salad when in the back of their minds they know that they can get cancer with those pesticides lingering under the skin of the vegetables in that salad, or from the hormones in the steak they had for dinner.

How are we supposed to trust anything, be it government, healthcare, pharmaceutical, whatever, when we are bombarded every single day of our lives with cancer causing products?

There certainly is a lot of money generated by benefits, walks, donations, patients, etc.

There's also a lot of money generated by products that cause cancer.

Really, what are we supposed to believe? And how can we really have good faith in what money for cancer really goes towards?

And anyone who believes that "they" are hiding the biggest profit motive in the history of the world for...profit (I don't get that one) needs to go meet a cell cycle molecular biologist and have a chat about their work.

I assure you, knowing plenty of people who work in this area, that no one is hiding the cure because the cure is far more profitable than the treatment will ever be.

cancer is a horrid disease since 2000 I've lost a grandfather, grandmother, great aunt, great uncle, moms cousin (whatever they count as), 2 rats, a mouse, and we had a foster dog with it. It is really sad to watch the strongest woman you ever know say she's ready to give up, its hard on everyone. Its even harder to watch your own father sucking down one cigarrette after another knowing what the chance he'll get it, plus me from second hand.

IF there is a cure, HOPEFULLY someone would leak some information to cause them to share it. Even if they did find one, you know they'd make it so expensive. What I've always thought is in all those jungles that are dissapearing, deforestation, there is a plant that would be the key ingredient to the cure. Hopefully the cure will be found, but cancer will always be a burden. Its amazing how some find themselves inferior to it, OH it wont happen to me. NO NEVER, and then they get taken down in less than a year. a true shame.

Not sure if "they" are hiding a cure ,but I for one say if there are I would not be alive today,

See back in Dec. 2008 I was told I had cancer stage 4 and that I only had 6 months to live , the cancer was all on my left side ,it was covering 80% of my spline, they where large spots on my heart, on my liver and my left lung .

See my point is I did chemo bi-weekly (1 day for 6-8 hours ) every other week for 4 months straight , and today almost 10 months later I'm free from cancer , so begining told that I had 6 months to live and I am still alive today and cancer free for now, they must be a cure , cuz they cure me,

I think "they" are individuals that are hiding themselves from the prevention of cancer. "They" do it by putting their heads somewhere dark and snug and smelly.

"They" always want to place blame on "the man" but refuse to excercise, eat a healthy diet, lose weight, quit drinking, quit smoking, and any of the countless other things we all can do to cut our risk. "They" come from families that are riddled with tombstones thanks to cancer, yet they continue to do as their forefathers (and mothers) did and are completely shocked and stunned when they end up with the same result.
