Does anyone know what I’m looking at, and more so, is it normal? This is my 1st time incubating duck eggs from our Runners.

I have a 3rd egg in the incubator, not pictured and the embryo fills up the entire egg so it’s entirety is dark. It’s also a day 21er. Worth mentioning all 3 eggs have lots of activity. I’ve just never seen pics of ones split like these 2 are in V’s. We lost our 4th today, was due to hatch yesterday & wound up dying so I’m a little concerned about these last 3.

These look like the blood vessel membrane hasn't expanded to cover the entire inside of the egg.

Are these in an upright turner?

I agree with @Pyxis looks like the network just didn’t fill the egg. If it hatches, it will likely be really gooey and will hatch super wet. But the goo will harden like a rock, so be sure to clean the face. It will flake off of the feathers with a little rubbing (I brush with a soft dry toothbrush, if necessary, after a day or so of letting the baby work most of it off), but it is tough to clean if it hardens around the eyes and beak. Best to wash the face with a slightly damp towel or cotton ball, shortly after hatch.
