Wow...since eggnog seems to count, I am so in!!! I am just NOT a candy person. BUTTTTTTT....I can't ever resist Jelly Bellies. all other jelly beans are just NASTY. Jelly Bellies are the most addictive food on earth, however.

I really dont think I could live without Candy Canes. I eat hundreds every year, lol. Maybe THAT is why the dentist told me my teeth look like Crud.

Oh there is another Easter Candy I love, and now I cant remember what it is! I cant remember, hahaha. They are solid milk chocolate inside, with a crunchy outer shell. They come in a variety of colors and are speckled. Bite sized little things, and I LOVE them. I also love Milky Way eggs. Taste way better than a normal Milky Way,lol.

These things!! I LOVE em!

It doesn't have to be candy, does it? I'm not a fan of candy, usually, but there are things I only eat on or around certain holidays, so I consider them Holiday treats.

Halloween - roasted pumpkin seeds. I'll get a dozen pumpkins at a time to carve, and then the roasting begins! Yummy

Thanksgiving - cranberry sauce. I eat this stuff on Thanksgiving day as though my life depended on it. It goes on the turkey, in the stuffing, on the rolls and mashed potatoes, in the green beans . . . and when the meal is over, I'll spend the rest of the day snacking on plain old cranberry sauce. Fantastic

Christmas - hot cocoa. For some reason, I never make this except in December. I stir it with a peppermint stick, but I always give the peppermint stick to someone else to eat when I'm done stirring. I just want the cocoa

New Years - Bailey's Irish cream. We don't drink, and I generally despise alcohol for anything other than cooking and a hot toddy for a sore throat, but I always have a glass of Bailey's to toast the new year. Very tasty.

Easter - maraschino cherries. I only buy them once a year to use on the ham (another once a year item of food), and I have a hard time stopping myself from eating and drinking the whole jar in one gulp.

Independence Day - snow cone. I get one a year, so I have the hardest time choosing a flavor. This year I chose margarita flavoring.

MMmm! I love candy corn, but only enjoy it in the fall.
Thanksgiving I have a set menu (my family pickets when I deviate from the tried and true!); but for sweets we have a pumpkin streusel pie, apple pie, homemade cranberry/orange relish, and an orange jello fluff with lots of fruit in it.
Christmas is cookie baking the whole month of December! I have a good recipe for spicy persimmon cookies with a lemon glaze. Addictive!
Easter I love jelly beans, but not the black ones. I don't care for black licorice at all.
Late spring means strawberry shortcake with homemade shortcake and real whipped cream.
Summer is blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
Chocolate is good any time of the year!
Shall I go on?!?!

OOh, I like those, too!

I love candy canes, especially the fruity ones. Mmmm...

I also love chocolate-covered cherries... (You can get them anytime anymore but they seem to be a bigger deal around Christmas).

Anything almond paste... MMM.

This is the thread for me! I am a sweet-a-holic, unfortunately! Candy corn is completely awesome and I was looking for some just Friday! I didn't see any, but I'm sure it will be out here anytime now. I also look forward to the chocolate covered cherries, peanut butter fudge, and magic cookie bars at Christmas time! It's the candy hearts at Valentines Day, Peeps, jellybeans, and Cadbury Caramel Eggs at Easter. I can also eat the Russell Stovers Pecan Delights and 'ole day! Okay! Enough of this! Time for breakfast.

Edited to add that eggnog is most definitely a favorite here at Christmas time too! The eggnogg taffy that Pepperidge Farms makes at Christmas time is quite tasty also!

I think it is the chocolate to peanutbutter ratio.

I am not a huge fan of candy corn unless I have salted peanuts to go with it. I do love most kinds of candy though, and I am a chocoholic.
