Can't find my babies...

I’m so sorry for your loss:hugs. Have there been any predators around or a lack of other eggs? I’m curious as to what happened.
There was a small raccoon in the neighborhood a week ago, but no damage to the coop, and no other missing eggs

Also interested in your set up - could they have wandered off and got through a mesh wall and then couldn't find their way back in?
I'll take a picture in the daylight tomorrow, but no there isn't, we built it very sturdy and anti predator

I suppose you could easily drive yourself mad trying to work out what happened :( do you think she will sit again?

I'm hoping so, hoping that it was just first time mishaps. I'll give her one more chance for a clutch, if she firms out not to be a good mom then ill just self incubate

Here's some pictures of our coop setup. It's a wooden bottom frame with cattle panels curled over it. Along the bottom 4ish feet is garden wire, and then along the bottom 2 feet we added a layer of chicken wire for extra predator deterrent, with a heavy duty tarp stretched on top for weather protection. These are after i went a little crazy and tore up all the old straw looking for the babies,
