We've recently added two Serama Silkie chick mixes to our flock. They're about 2 months old and are looking to be males. I'd like to give them away; however, my husband is quite partial to keeping them... they're his "buddies". I'd like to look into caponization as roosters are illegal to own where I live. I'd perform it myself, but after viewing photos and threads, I don't think I'm confident enough. Can anyone recommend someone experienced with caponization in/near Tucson, AZ?
