Ok...Never heard back from the vet, whatever....I'll just be taking my "regular" pets somewhere else then, they can just deal with our cows if they're going to be like that. The only thing that was mentioned here that I could find was the Duramycin-10...so I consider that a small win. Though looking it over it looks like it's just for respritory issues??? Figured it wasn't that expensive I'd get some to add to my new first aid kit
Or can it be used for this, I don't know. I managed to locate some tea tree oil and Neem oil that were suggested by a friend while I was picking up my gallon of raw apple cider vinegar. Then I hit the dollar store and bought all of their self stick wraps in 2" width.
Lucky's still doing good and ate nearly his whole egg scrambler this morning and has been drinking plenty of water too...now the mission this evening after milking will be to get him in his leg soak and slather him up good.
Now I can't quite picture the "splinting above and below the break"...can someone please help me out there, because I'd like to really try and get it right this time, so I don't have to keep messing with his poor leg, I figure this soak and super slathering should be the major treatment for the mites and then I'll be able to re-slather as needed, without taking his splint off.
Thank you again, EVERYONE!!!
