Raven saw Bree catch him and walked back to them. She pulled a thin elvish made rope from her bag and knelt to tie him up, replacing her dagger in it's sheath as she did.

Bree ran back over, waving Raven away, not wanting Her to aggravate his wounds any further. She took no time in removing the daggers, and disinfecting his wounds using A mixture of water, salt, and Vinegar, and using some Cloth to spread it over the wounds to make it did not get infected, before using the rest of it to wrap his shoulder and calf, before stepping back, leaving the rest to Raven, knowing she probably knew what she was doing.

Part of Linden's words rang true, even though it had been Rorik and not Algar that had sent the bandits to capture the caravan's wagon. But his mind pushed any blame of his own away. "And you to join them shortly," Algar spat. With Linden backed up against the wall and his only weapon out of his hands, there was nothing to stop Algar now. He shortened his hold on the axe handle and pulled it back, intending to spill Linden's guts onto the floor.

The room seemed to grow darker ... and much quieter, as Terrick made it to his feet, his field of vision momentarily narrowing down to a small point as Linden's fire iron went flying across the room. With the last bit of his strength, Terrick pushed himself off the window's edge, sword extended toward Algar's back. The bandit's mouth opened in shock and surprise as the blade embedded itself in his back. Terrick let go of the blade and fell to the floor right next to Linden and Algar where he lay still.

A long breath of relief escaped Linden's mouth as the blade struck Algar and the ax hung suspended in the air. He lunged forward and grabbed the ax from Algar's grasp to prevent it from either swinging towards Linden, or falling on Terrick, and threw it off to the side. With one hand he shoved the bandit leader backwards and fell to his knees beside Terrick. "Terrick, can you hear me?" He said quietly, resting a hand on his friend's shoulders.

Across the small room, Mavis lay still where he had been dropped by Algar. His legs and arms were sprawled awkwardly around his body and he appeared to be unconscious.

Terrick remained motionless, eyes closed, face pale and ashen even in the dim light of Raven's house, but shallow breath still escaped his lips.

On the shore of the lake, Merek faired slightly better, clenching his teeth in pain as Raven bound his hands and Bree tended to his wounds. He stared at the ground, contemplating his fate... a hangman's noose, no doubt. He felt no fear about the prospect of death, but the idea of being paraded before a crowd gathered to see him die bothered him greatly. He looked up, catching Bree's eye as she finished cleaning the wound on his leg. "Grant me one last boon," he implored her, "Let me die here as it is my home."

For a couple of long seconds Linden believed that Terrick was deceased. A lump rose in his throat and his head fell to rest on his friend's chest. It was there that he noticed a subtle, shallow breath. Followed by a second, and a third. "Terrick?" He looked down at Terrick's face, it looked so lifeless but there was no denying the fact that he was breathing. As gently as he could, he slid his arms under Terrick's body and lifted him to the cot in the corner of the room. From there he began rifling through drawers and shelves, searching for medical supplies to properly bind Terrick's leg before infection set in.

Bree looked back at him. "Its not my decision." She said in a shockingly sweet voice, not hinting at her profession of a Sell sword.

Raven looked to Bree then to Merek "It is not mine, either. I have to go see how the others fare. Can you watch over this one?" Raven asked Bree then looked towards her home.

In the top drawer of the dresser was flint and tinder to light the candles she used. It also had some medical supplies, though not much. The bulk of her medical supplies were in a closet near the bed, along with bed linens and other things.

Bree nodded, she thrusted her sword into the ground, sitting down against it, facing Merek.

Having started from the bed Linden found the supplies which were hidden in the closet first. With it being so dark, and in such a hurry, he dropped most of it on the floor in his haste to find what he needed to bandage Terrick's leg. He glanced at Mavis, still on the floor, as he worked, but wanted to stop the bleeding first. Otherwise Terrick could end up bleeding to death, at least he was reasonably sure that Mavis wouldn't die on the floor...

After finding a bandage of adequate size, Linden returned to Terrick's bedside and slowly pulled the remains of the cloth that was currently covering the wound. He wasn't usually queezy at the sight of blood, but even he had to admit that Terrick's wound was particularly gruesome. After he had removed the cloth he realized that he had forgotten water to clean to wound. Returning to his feet, he found a bowl on the table and grabbed it on his way out the door. He wasn't sure what the situation was outside, but it sounded quiet so he assumed it would be safe to venture to the river.

Raven nodded and took off at a run to get to the hidden walkway and over to her house. She slowed when she saw Linden coming out of her house, coming to a stop near him "You survived." She said then glanced to the house wondering why it was still dark.
