We may be coming to Chickenstock. If we do it will be our first time going to an event like this. We are looking for LF Ameracaunas, prefer blue, splash, black, white, lavender(maybe). We are looking for 2-3 pullets (we have too many roos as it is) around the 6-8 week age range. We may end up bringing 2 RIR pullets and a BR cockeral to try to sell as well. They are around 7 weeks old. Willing to sell seperately, as a trio, or just the pullets together and the roo seperate. Is anyone interested in them? Does anyone have LF Ameracauna they are bringing?

Bringing the birds to sell depends on getting the green card in time too. I am faxing it in Monday, hopefully I get it in time and DH is interested in coming, bringing out little trio, and looking at what everyone has. I know my kids will enjoy it if we get to come.

I would expect Turkeys to be for sale there since every sale I have seen someone has shown up with them. I am sure we will have a better turn out then what we already know about. So many folks reading the flyers and taking them to share with others may make this a huge event. I have a feeling that 1 pm will pass us by and we will still be going strong.

I plan to get up at 5 and start loading the truck. Not to mention I hope to have some crates ready to fill already in the truck.
Everyone please remember to bring water and/or containers for your birds. For the ones you bring as well as the ones you buy. There probably will be a way to get water there (bathrooms or spigots) but having your own from home helps, too.

I keep finding chicks that I know I can part with so I will try to bring as much as I can to sell. I won't be parting with any Ameraucanas though (unless someone asks for a roo) as I want my flock to be huge next year. I need the pretty eggs to sell. I only have about 30 pullets growing up. I am sure I could probably pair up a few but they are 4 months old and already pretty big. I have such a small truck and think I have already planned to over fill it.

Believe me he has been trying to! It's just finding the time between regular work, the horses & horse shows, the kids, taking care of the farm (which includes baling hay several times a year) and tending to chickens (including the shows) he just can't squeeze them in as much as he would like to. We have sold quite a few thru local and CL over the last year, he just does them one at a time per custom request.

What does he charge for them?

Here is one of the white bantam Cochin boys I will be bringing. I tried to get more photos but they were all in the camera lens or on top of my feet so I could not get a better shot than this. I hope this is something you are looking for. If not, they will still be for sale.

Here's an okay photo. Yes, they are dirty. They run in and out of the brooder room and play in the dirt so they need baths on Friday morning and hopefully I can keep them from getting dirty that day.

We will be coming. We plan to bring some lavender split silkies, a partridge/calico silkie boy, and two white bantam cochin boys. All are very nice quality. I may bring a couple of paint boys.
