sounds good.. im bringing my mom and son I m sure they will want shirts..

hey just curious what does the raffle money go towards? is it to have funds to start off for a 2nd one?

The funds are going to a local charity called "Kids In Need". The county school nurses have a fund set up to help pay for things that they can't afford, example Glasses. They will be there with a booth set up and information so everyone can better understand.

I think what we will do is find a different charity to donate to with each Chickenstock, that's the idea anyway.

So far this event has come out of my personal pocket but luckily not cost me allot other than the cost of the fliers, t-shirts and some of the raffle items. It helps that DH is the president of the horse club that owns the facility and he does support my hobby.

sounds like a very worth while cause.. I do hope you will pull your cost out so that you will be able to do this again.. your doing a great job. its not easy pulling these together..

thanks for doing it.

I want to play the rain by ear.... allot of times around here rain doesn't last long and just passes thru, lately it has been holding off and raining late in the afternoon into evening so we may be safe even if they do call for rain.

Allison is making this lap quilt and has 2 matching pillows to bring to sell on Saturday. What do you all think? It will have a sunflower border similar to the sunflowers on the panels.
