~*Carolina Chickenstock 2011*~

Okay, if all works out then I will also be bringing 3 Saxony drakes, 5 mths old, 1 Pekin drake, also 5 mths old and a Fawn/blue/white Runner drake that is 2 months old.
A few Guinea keets and some Muscovy ducklings, I think I already mentioned those.

I keep finding cages but I still think I am finding more birds to bring than I have cages.

I want to shop so badly but know I need to sell instead of buy!

I'm so excited to be coming (and I usually HATE to even leave home)

Hi Everyone! Just got back from picking up some decorations for tomorrow, also stopped by and picked up Tractor Supplies donation for the raffle.

Still sooo much to do today and sooo little time.

One more trip over to the grounds tonight to drop some things off and change the sign to "chickens" at the horse show grounds.

Then back home to try and finish up on the hutches, goodies and begin thinking about packing the vehicles.

Oh, forgot that I need to get some sleep in there somewhere!

Uhhhhh, we are supposed to clean up the chickens?

I wanted to wash some of the white bantam Cochins today but as I sit here eating breakfast at 1 pm I know that isn't going to fit my schedule.

I still have to feed everyone and finish topping off all the waterers. And come 6 pm I am definitely going to start putting birds in their travel cages because I am not going to do all this at 5:30 in the morning.

Sleep? I am not too sure about that. I usually only get 4 hours before a Guinea Pig show so I am not too sure I will get much more tonight. I always remember stuff at the last minute and rush around gathering things.

I do have a satchel packed with For Sale signs and what breed they are along with tape to affix them to the cages. I have extra paper and a magic marker and some Sold signs printed out in case anyone buys them and can't pick them up right then.
Water containers and food dishes are ready and as clean as I could get them.
I checked everyone for parasites and sprayed a few with Poultry Protector, just in case.

But washing? Ugh......I just haven't got the time. Sorry, my birds will be dirty tomorrow.

I spent a little while yesterday fixing my canopy's frame to setup for shade. Pair of pliers, screw driver, and duct tape. Good as new.

I do need to find the canvas top/cover for it. I think I know where it is, maybe.
