CAROLINA CHICKENSTOCK FALL 2012

Bless your heart, Amy, that was a lot of work for that last post but now mine is revised a bit.

I received payment from jfaith51 for cage cards and one of the 24x24 cages.

I have a few cage cards left, not yet sure how many clips to go with them but I will count when I come in later for lunch break. I am only now eating breakfast! LOL Such is my days working the farm. So much to do!

I also will have these nifty cage cards for sale. We have about of them in many different colors and with different writing on them or none at all. I often flipped them around to use the other side if I did not use what was stamped on the other side. They also have clips that come with them for clipping to a cage.
I write on these with a sharpie and wipe it off with alcohol to use again and again.
There are used ones and brand new ones available.

Each one is 25 cents and that includes the clip. Without the clip they are 20 cents each.

These have been great on my breeding pens and to date my broody hens. I use them for tons of things on my pens or cages. Very useful if you move hens around to certain roos to date that or to keep hatch dates on certain brooders. I also have used them in my incubator to clip to a tray for hatch dates when I have massive quantities and did not want to write on each egg.

Just counted and I have 23 pink, 2 green left, 9 white, 5 red, 18 blue and 6 yellow that say "For Sale". We may find others as we go through the Guinea Pig room but that is what I have right now. Some are used but all are being cleaned and sanitized as we speak.
Okay, as of now I only have 19 clips left unless we find more. All the green and white cards are sold. There are only 4 red cards left but there are blue, pink and some yellow ones still available in better numbers. We always used blue for boys and pink for girls, so we have more of those. Our other colors were for pet piggies or retired piggies.

If I had any nasty roos here I would use the red cage cards for them so people would not stick their fingers in the cages but my birds are all pretty docile.

Just saw this. Sure, PayPal so I can hold back 1000 or more, whatever amount you like. I can't swear I will have any for long once we set up. They sold so fast this past spring we wished we had brought more but I am taking orders now and they seem to be a big hit.

And how neat is it that you live in the same town where this is?! Lucky! I have to drive 1 1/2 hours, meaning I will be on the road around 4:30 am. Ugh.... but so worth it!

We are coming too.

We will have Turkey Poults, Not positive which, but I expect, Std Bronze and Silver Auburn. DOB:6/11/12

We will have Bantam Mixes, they all are a Goldneck Booted Bantam roo over a White Duccle hen. all look like Duccle, feathered foot and beards anb muff. Some are white, and the others are buff with white, sorta like a gold neck. These are close to laying age all born in the month of May. Edit*** The rooster to these babies is my avatar ***

You should have a notice from Paypal for my $10 payment for 1000 worms. I'm excited to get them. And you're right about this being in Lincolnton. The sale this past Spring was my first one since we'd just started our coop. I love the fact that it's only 15 minutes from the house. Can't wait to see what I can bring home this time. I have room for about 4 so I'm ready to SHOP!!! LOL

You forgot to say that the daddy to the Gold Neck Booted Bantam/White d'Uccle chicks is your avatar! You can see how gorgeous those kids will be!

Yes! I received your payment for the meal worms! Thank you! I will have them in a container with your name on it and ready to go to their new destination.

Wow! Only a 15 minute drive. That is so great. But what fun to be able to spend all morning there watching new people show up and buy and sell and not feel like you have to rush home.
