I keep going through the brooders trying to decide what I can sell. Keeping my numbers below 700 is so difficult. Now working towards less than 400! I keep saying that I have to cut back since it works me to death to take care of all this. You have seen my place, there is a lot to do and keep up and I like things kept looking nice. Oh so hard but my birds deserve the best!

Do you need more donations? If you do I can donate 6 maybe a few extras of my LF gold laced orpington hatching eggs 100% English. That is as longer as they are laying like they are right now.
We do still need donations and would be happy to have some of your eggs!!! Very greatly appreciated.

Looking for barred or partridge and possibly a birchen rooster to go with my birchen hens

I may have a Birchen Rooster that you can have. I want 10.00 for him. I will try to get a photo of him this week. I am in the bed with kidney stones today. I feel terrible. When I get to feeling a little better I will get a photo for you. You can go to my website to see photos of the parent stock. I have some really nice Birchens.
Thanks, Jody

I forgot to mention that my Calico Cochins came from Lynn at Wingshadows Hacienda. Silkisuz gave me some chicks from the eggs that she hatched from Lynn. They have awesome type and their coloring is wonderful. Lynn has really done a fabulous job with her Calico's and it really shows. I have 2 calico roosters and 4 calico hens that are hatching some lovely babies from this year.

I am using them in my "BabyDoll" cochin project and I am making real progress with them. I will probably have "BabyDolls" for sale next year. I have bred some of the smallest cochins that you have ever seen. I may bring a pair to CS just so that you all can see what they look like. I have some roosters that are weigh 12 to 14 ounces and the hens are around 14 to 16 ounces fully grown. I am excited about how they are turning out. I will probably have some for sale this fall if the summer goes well.
I am looking forward to sharing them with you.
You may have seen the photos of them before, but if you have not here are some of the photos of Levi. Levi is one of the F5 generation in my project.
He is beside of Emilio in the cage below. You can see that he is about half the size of the standard bantam cochin. The chicks that I am hatching from Levi have produced even smaller cochins that are about the size of a softball. I still have a few issues to work on with them, but I am happy with the progress that I have made so far. I don't have any for sale right now. I am hoping to have some this fall or maybe next spring. I just thought you all might like to see them!
