Carolina Chickenstock Spring 2013

Just mailed my ratite form. Hope to have some silkie chicks for sale at Chickenstock. And possibly silkie sizzle/frizzles. My original breeders were a direct purchase thru Hattrick and George Mahalik, and several other top breeders. I have been working on them for about 5 years. My babies are georgeous. Hope to have some available in blue, white, black, splash, lavender, and blue partridge. Both bators are full and should be hatching this weekend. I am looking forward to this meet.

Hi Marsha, I just wanted to say that Marsha's Birds are top quality! I bought my whites, blues and isabells from Marsha and I could not be happier with the quality. You won't go wrong with her birds. BEAUTIFUL!

I think I will be bringing another cage to sell this time around. It will be like the ones last year. I will get a photo of it to put on here.

Not sure but I may have some bantam Cochin roosters for sale, maybe a pair available if they aren't sold beforehand.

How old will the sizzle/frizzles be and how much per bird?

Yippeee! My first ChickenStock! WestknollAmy - you and Samantha will have to indoctrinate me beforehand. ;)

I'll be there as vendor (and buyer, but don't tell hubby that) and bringing:

LF:
Coronation Sussex - eggs and, hopefully, some chicks
Light Brahma - eggs and chicks
wheaten/blue wheaten Ameraucana - eggs and chicks (maybe, might be keeping everything I've got right now)
EEs - eggs, chicks, and perhaps a laying hen or two
OE - eggs only and only if the bcm starts laying between now and then

bantam:
buff cochin - probably eggs only, might have some chicks if someone wants to preorder.

Of course, everything listed above is dependent on the agreement of all my spoiled birds and is not guaranteed. :)

Yippeee! My bcm are laying! I should have some OE hatching eggs and maybe some chicks for Chicken Stock!

Regarding the frizzle/sizzles. They will be anywhere from a few weeks to about 6 wks old. I have 2 that are showing frizzling now at 2 wks old. And I have some hatching today. And more to hatch next weekend. Prices will most likely be $10. Not sure how many will be available.
