I get my Silkied an Frizzled eggs this week!! Laura says theres 16 of them!! even one from Nepoleon!!

Im sooooo excited!!

Thought I'd share a few pics of my babies from Laura's eggs now that they are feathering out.

They are really getting cute now that they are feathering out!

BTW One of my three eggs from Thadeus is pipping!

Hey Laura! I think its safe to say there are 3 roosters an 5 hens in the last batch..

Andre (formally April)

Girls -
Miracle
Casey
Cassidy
Hawk
Shiloh

I definately plan on keeping Andre, Shiloh and Hawk

as much as I dont want to get rid of any at all, I think I have found a very nice home for Cassidy with my friend, Mary, who just took Star's brother! she LOVES the Serama now and never heard about them until she started talking to me! She wants to start getting into them and fell in love with Cassidy yesterday!
I dont plan on getting rid of any of the Silkied so I guess I will have to part with SOME of the smooth babies but to be honest, I dont think I'll have a Smooth x Smooth nest, Smoothes will either be paired with Frizzle or Silkied

I wasnt big on Frizzle Serama AT ALL until I hatched out little Andre! I love him and he is by far my favoret! so thank you Laura for getting me hooked!

In the photos they were on wood pellets but I just switched all my Seramas to sand. It still makes a mess but I like it a lot better and I feel better about them pecking at it than I did shavings and the wood pellets.
