Yes they are! I sent you an email yesterday. Wink is getting around just fine--she comes out from under the brooder quite a bit but refuses to eat or drink. I know she can open her beak because I saw her yawn this morning, so I'm not sure what her deal is. All she cares to do is cuddle

The first 3 wk/old in the pictures I posted seems to be getting some pink in the comb and wattles... I was pretty sure that was a pullet! Hoping chick #2 is a pullet to keep things even.

That's how my little Delilah was... she had no movement reaction, wouldn't eat and only drank when I dipped her beak an only wanted to cuddle.. She moved around everywhere an didnt seem like there was anything wrong with her.. She was fully blind on one side and partially blind on the other side.. She died 5 days later..

Well she's actually missing an eye and her beak is just the tiniest bit crossed... I know the odds aren't good but she hatched out all on her own so I thought she deserved a chance. I force fed her a little yogurt mixed with vitamins and finely ground feed, but she was really fighting me. She's starting to peck at my finger now though when I drop water onto her beak, which is progress. Time will tell. I'm sorry your baby died :(

Look what I found last night--

I've got a 3-week-old broody! She wouldn't budge while Wink was trying to make herself comfortable in there. Then this morning I found an Othello and a Gino chick under her. They have access to a Brinsea EcoGlow (seen at left) but they just love their older buddy. Too cute.
