You can also try running them to exhaustion, but if they have trees to fly into that doesn't work so well. We have ours on a 1/8 acre movable pen and there aren't any trees so we can just run after any given rooster for ~5 minutes and they've pretty much had it - they start making poor decisions and are easy to catch. Of course it requires being in pretty good shape. Getting them at night is easier.
