hi all, new to chook keeping in sunny kent uk, we have two legbrs 7 months old and two rescue battery hens, legbars are laying great but one of the resue chicks is being picked on a little and is laying wrinkly soft shelled eggs, done the usual,oyster shell grit
and everything else, any ideas? regards henpecked mick/lol
 
Hello and welcome to BYC!
Stress apparently causes them to lay eggs like those. I get them occasionally... And my hens live in a pasture with more greens than they can ever eat. So it's not a food related problem. Give her lots of attention and cuddles.
