i was just wondering is it likely that the cat next door shadow, who is 2yrs old, likely to attack my silkies (4months) and also the crows flying by to! all my silkies are girls x

Hi this is just my opinion but I do not think next doors cat will bother your silkie girls at four months I have cats and have never had trouble with them. Although newly hatched and young chicks I keep in cat free areas. Also I dont think crows flying over will bother them same again as with cats they make take small chicks. If things are really worrying you could you maybe do supervised free ranging? Good luck with your silkie girls.:frow

whatever you do DO NOT. resort to dogs!! my cats dont bother my chickens, but keep in mind cats like to play, and they use TEETH AND CLAWS XD. so the cat idea is not ideal, but its not entirley impractical
