Yeah he gets babied. Every time he sees me he runs & hides because he thinks Im taking him to the vet. Thanks I didnt think of it like that.

Aww...sorry to hear that. I love horses. I want one so bad. My uncle in Kentucky has a few. You would think after trying taking care of them the "right" way they would be fine but something always has to happen.Yeah I had an outside long haired cat that matted bad but it was hard to cut the clumps off of him. Had to brush him as often as I could. Thats ok rant all you want lol. Thats awful. Glad you were able to do what you could & rescued the kitten! Poor animals. I hate when people get animals & dont take care of them! The people next door have a dozen cats they dont want but wont take them to a shelter or get them fixed so the just keep reproducing. Our dogs end up killing any that come into the yard...which I cant stand because I love cats....However, one cat killed two baby chicks :(

Yeah, 15 is not a bad age for a cat. Really old ones are maybe 20. I think cats are very susceptible to the chemicals in our environment, and stress too and they get all sorts of diseases and illnesses as a result. My horse actually does really well. She's just too far and it's a lot of time for me driving, but I keep her at that barn because she's lived there for 14 years and it's the best place for her. I think my animals pretty much rule my life.

Yeah. He has allergies so bad. Thats good. Yeah. Same here. Couldnt live without them. They are my therapy.

I'm bringing home a new kitten at the beginning of August. She is the little one on the very right, of a litter of two boys and one girl. Her destiny is to be an incredibly spoiled barn cat. First thing that is happening when she comes home is to get her vaccinated by the vet, and schedule a spay when she weighs enough/is old enough.

She won't be leaving her mother until she is eight weeks old. It actually makes me glad the family she is with isn't letting her leave too early. So many people want kittens gone at six weeks, too young. By staying she'll learn from her super awesome mouser mama and they need that time with their mother to mature.

Not naming her until I bring her home. But as I love the Lord of the Rings books and The Silmarillion, there are names aplenty to pick from in those books.

They are so cute!

I agree, 6 weeks is far too young for a kitten, I'm glad they get a chance to learn from their mother first.

I have a huge fan of Lord of the Rings! I have a chicken named Galadriel and I had a rooster named My Precious and another named Smaug.

Hello, my name is Moo. I just ate a couple of strands of hay, a few leaves off of that leathery plant in mommy's window, and the cotton off of a couple of Q-tips I found in the bathroom garbage can. Yum! They got stuck all together though, in my small intestine. It hurt and I got real sick. It cost mommy $800 and I almost had to have surgery. But, now that I pooped it all out, and everything is back to normal, I think I'll look around for something else to eat. Any plastic or dental floss around?

That would be a cat for you. Eat what isn't edible and turn up your nose to the most expensive of foods. LOL.

I'm glad Moo is feeling better.
