I have 3 Cayuga ducks, about 12 weeks old. We hoped for 2 female and 1 male but looks like we have 2 males and 1 female! I know this isn’t the best scenario. Can I add 1 female, so that we have 2 of each, and will they live in harmony??

I know a breeder and may see if she has hens and would like one of the drakes.

They look so similar - how can I tell male and female for sure?
The males will shed their feathers soon (molt) and they will look completely different than the females. But for right now, you can tell by the sound. They honk if they are a girl. But they sound like a raspy smoker if it’s a male.

I think this little drawing i found is realy funny
