I have been searching for weeks now! I have fallen in love with Cayugas and i want some badly, I have nothing to hatch eggs with so please don't answer with that. I only want a male and a female, two females would be nice. Babies are okay or adults.

Cayugas are beautiful birds :) My advice to you would be, if you want adults, check your local craigslist. If you want ducklings, Metzer Farms sells them sexed, meaning you could choose the gender that you want, or straight run, which is a little cheaper but risky if want girls for sure. They ship them to you as day-olds, but that will be pricey, because with only two ducklings, they need to include heat packs to keep them warm enough, and they have to do the fastest shipping method possible. Their minimum order is two ducklings, so you could get your two. However, if you get a male, might I suggest getting two females to go with him? With just one female he may over-breed her and hurt her, but with two you'll probably be okay. Also, taking care of three ducks is just as easy as two :)

Edited because I realized I had typed Meyer instead of Metzer Farms - big difference!

i am only looking for a handful of birds and they have a min of 10. I am hoping to find a person that breeds them and would be willing to sell me some.

Metzer's doesn't have a minimum of 10. They will do small orders for an additional fee. I would definitely go with Metzer's over any other hatchery.

From their website:
However, we are now able to ship fewer than these quantities for ducklings and goslings. We have done some experimenting and have learned we can ship smaller quantities of waterfowl than before. By sealing the majority of holes on the outside of the box, putting insulation on the floor and using a special heat pack, as few as two ducklings or goslings can be shipped anywhere in the US. This new minimum only applies to ducklings and goslings.

The Small Order Charge is $12 and includes the special 60 hour heat pack, the insulation and box sealing.
There is also a minimum charge for the birds (excluding sexing charges) of $38.
This means that if you order 7 Pekins (7 x $4.15 = $29.05) you will be charged $38, not 29.05, as $38 is the minimum.
If you order fewer than the minimum number of birds (10 Ducklings, 8 Goslings, or 10 Combined Ducklings and Goslings), you will require the heat pack as well, which is $12 and is not included as part of the minimum charge.
We feel this is an excellent way to meet the needs of those that can only raise a couple birds.

Normally we try to include a free bird with most orders. With orders that require the Minimum Order Charge, we do not include extra birds as we understand you are ordering this few as you do not have room for more.

I've ordered less than ten from Metzer Farms - six little Cayuga girls one time, four another... The second time was through my favorite feed store once I found out their source for waterfowl was Metzer, so maybe that doesn't count....

My flock more than doubled in size from 13 when one duck hatched 14 ducklings, so now I have too many ducks. Just gave four ducks and a drake to a local fella I gave some chickens last year.

I don't know where you are.... Wanna drive to the Western Sierra Foothills of California to pick up a couple? ;-)

I agree with cubbysan, get more than 2. If you are looking for adults needing a home, many are listed on the petfinder web site.
