Seems like I have forgotten about this thread! Well, I am going to bring it back alive!
I'm sure many of you know, but I lost Pichon the oldest and Smarty the youngest and egg layer due to some sickness. Alexander ( the middle one) was the only one I caught on time. We have no Avian vet in the area so I had to figure out what to do and give. He was on 3 different meds and 5 vitamins. I had to be watching him day and night since he couldn't control himself. It was getting to the point were he was about to die. I almost gave up. After weeks of force feeding and giving him meds, he finally started to eat again. This made me feel better! Now after 3 months of recovering he can finally coo again. I'm so happy for him and myself for being able to get him to this point. He now acts as if he never was sick. He comes to me for treats and sits with me. He is more social then he has ever been. I have been able to start training him for photo shoots since Smarty my trained dove, passed.
