Yesterday, I did not feed them in the morning, then about noon, I went down and put a little feed by the chicken door, a little feed just inside, and a little feed further indoors. All went in eventually and spent some time there. Then last night, I used my long stick and herded them into the new coop and shut them up. Let them out this morning, and then again late this afternoon, put food inside the coop, used the stick on the stragglers, and got them rounded up and in the new coop. Locked them in for the night.
This morning, I was amazed how dry and warm it felt inside the coop. This has the best ventilation up high, I think it makes quite a difference.
