Cell phone rant

What I hate about the blue tooth is sometimes I don't realize they have one and think they are talking to me and I respond to my embarrassment.

I once shut up a guy who was endlessly yammering about personal things into his cel phone in the booth behind me while I was trying to enjoy a quiet lunch. I finally turned clear around in my seat and said, "Wow!! That's really interesting!!" He turned every shade of red and hung up immediately.

Man I hate it when they are driving (or trying to) talking on the cell phone, doing their hair, putting on lipstick, smoking a ciggy or what every.

I dont even drive anymore due to anixity attacks and have to have a driver, but even being the passanger it makes me worry.

I like the notice in my dr. office, it says if you are outside talking on your phone and you are called for your appointment you will have to resecudule your appointment. And you are to shut off your phone when you are in there.

We have a cell but dont use it much except at home, mostly to call the police or make dr. appointments.

We even had a lady killed by a guy that was talking on his phone, he didnt see the car slow down to turn and plowed right into them, killing the woman in the back seat.

People drive all over the road, both sides, off the side, across the line, then back again.

I have a cell phone, and the only people that can call me on it are the schools my kids go to, my mother, and that's it. They are the only ones who have the #, and I only keep it on when the kids are at school and I'm not at home for the school to call there. I HATE cell phones.

AHHHHHHHH, you mean me...............

I have to admit, I do talk loud on my cell phone. It's not something I consciously do. I do it on my home phone too. Something about my ears, and the hollow sound in the earpiece that makes my brain think I need to talk loud. And most times, when I concentrate on talking lower, I have to repeat everything I say three times

One time, in Target, I was talking to my BFF, and my FIL shows up behind me and says "I could hear you 4 aisles over". Of course, he has super sonic hearing, but I feel bad anyway. I only use my phone if necessary in stores, because I know I'm loud, and I never talk about personal stuff.

I hate the walkie-talkies and people (like my hubby) who insist on using their speakerphone, you can hear every part of the conversation then.

Yes to this! I have answered people asking questions in the grocery store, only to realize they were talking on their blue tooth. They don't even notice but sure embarrasses me.

I was kinda embarrassed years ago when i went to the restroom at walmart and the person in the next stall asked me how i was doing, i replied fine and then they continued to talk but it wasn't to me they were on a cell phone.

I have done the same thing....more than once.

Yea,what is it with the yelling? My dh does that at home when he is talking with family on the other side of the world. I have to leave the room. If someone calls me I turn off the ringer or tell them I will call them once I am in my car. I NEVER answer the phone while driving.
