CENTRAL FL SWAP MEET!!!!! See post #720 for new thread

I need a black Australorp hen if anyone has one. A friend of mine really wants one since his got killed by a dog. Please let me know if anyone has one (or chicks)!

I had a request from someone who cannot attend but is looking for 2 nice young laying hens...large fowl.

Is anyone bringing something like this? She's not particular about breed...she just wants a good egg layer.

Also, she has 2 orpington roos (I think buffs) that I am going to bring for her. I think they are around 6 months old, but I'll check with her to be sure.

So how many people have asked for directions? Sounds like it's gonna be a good sized group! Can I bring anything?

I think I've had about 10 or 12 people ask for directions...I'm losing count. We should have a decent turn-out.

I don't think we need anything...just bring some folding chairs if you want somewhere to sit.

Is the meet a go?? My whole flock DISAPPERED. I had 12 girls and a rooster (SIlver and Gold Laced Wyandottes, Rock Barrs and some Red Comets). I let them out of their coop and when I came home from work, they were all gone. I think my little flock was rustled . . .

SO now I have to start all over. I raised these girls (other than Dub the rooster) from day old chicks (my son is very freaked out by this whole ordeal). So if it's on, where and when??

Thanks,

dave - PMed you!

The rest of you - you had better come wanting chicks and here's why: (note that this doesn't include my older group outside or the ones still in the bator

Hmmm, where do I start? Top pic - Meaties, RIRs, EEs, Silkies, Sizzles, Frizzles; middle pic - Silkies and Sizzles; bottom pic - RIRs, pink eggers, EEs, Silkie/EE, BC Marans (no, those are not for sale!). I think that covers it...
