I'm sure there will be plenty of chicks for everyone interested! I should have about 30 or so by then too.
I just wanted to remind everyone to PLEASE bring your birds in cages with ENCLOSED BOTTOMS. This will keep the poo out of my yard and decrease the risk of disease transmission to my flock.
We will have a tent and some drinks, but if you want a table/chairs or snacks you're in charge of bringing them for yourself.
We are coming for sure I already have directions from Oldtimegator thanks looking forward to it. Micki I have a beautiful standard white cochin cockerel about 22 weeks and two beautiful black australope cockerels if anyone is interested. Maybe some mixed whtie and red banties too.
Okay yes I think I can sex them out there should be a few that are old enough to tell. Or we will give a good shot. I also have a Bantam pair of lite Brahams if anyone is interested in them. They are really pretty & adults about a year old or so. I am sure I have a few other things I will be bringing. I have a couple extra Lady Amherst Males & maybe a trio of black Runner Ducks. I have a little of everything so I will have to take a look at ones I can live w/out but at the time I just couldnt live w/out them. Well just let me know what colors on the Cochins & I will make sure I have them available!
Oooh, how lucky of me to have found this! I'm in Tampa (but with two carseats in the back of a Tercel, so no carpooling here) and I'd be HAPPY to drive to G'ville if someone is interested in a EE cockerel.
I know it's not anything terribly exciting, but he can't stay in our backyard. I have pictures of him here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=104611&p=1
What I'd really like is to find him a home and add two laying hens to the two EEs (won't lay till, like, February) we've got now.
