We sold all our extra silkies and showgirls (including a white one, sorry).

We will be on the look out for some nicely feathered ones. Sounds like a couple people will have some white ones, yeah!!!!

What time are we meeting again?

Ok, everyone...it's almost here! We're going to start at 1 p.m., but feel free to come a little early if you want to set everything up. Here's some info to help everyone out in case you've missed some of the other posts:

This is going to be a SWAP, SELL, & BUY meet, so don't worry if you don't have any chickens to trade...you can always buy more!

Also, if you want to bring other poultry (quail, ducks, etc) or supplies (cages, feeders, etc) to swap those items are also welcome.

If you are bringing birds please make sure they are in a cage with a BOTTOM (or a tarp under it) to cut down on disease transmission.

We will have a tent and a cooler with drinks. Chairs, tables, and snacks are up to you! I will also have some name tags so we can wear our BYC (and real) names.

It is going to be COLD, so if you are bringing babies make sure to bring a light or heating pad for them. I will run an extension cord from the house or fire up the generator so that everyone can plug stuff in if they need to.

I just wanted to put this out there, cuz I will only be there from about 1-2:30-3pm...so if you are interested in my birdies, bring a cage

I have tried to take this guy in, but he is just TOO big for everyone (I have almost all Seramas!) He is pretty sweet, but hard to catch

Once you get him, he is nice and cuddly. He also takes very good care of his girls and is VERY fertile!
He is an arecauna/serama mix and is much more on the aurecana side as far as SIZE...
Also, have a few sweet Seramas (2 roos, and a hen) and possibly a frizzle roo. Hen, too, but Ladybug has first dibs on her.
If I can pry a few away from myself, I will have 3-4 Sizzles!
