Black pants, black and white top, drenched blond hair...2 kids, girl in floral sundress, son in black seascape shirt and jeans, white car. He hung close to the ducks, lol.

I told him to keep my head straight today when I saw the ducks so I wouldn't buy any, he physically straightened it and went straight out and talked to gentleman with the ducks. I asked him why he did it(trying to get into a 12 year olds mind) "well mom, you wouldn't have done it, and you wanted them". Such a good boy watching out for his mom, so I got 2 of them

I came home with 11 silkies today too.

Yep that us, it was her first swap and exposure to new breeds she hasn't seen in person. it was a great learning experience.

OK!!! For the next and all future swaps, we must have name tags, I spoke to people and didn't know who (BYC Name) they where... Like 4kidz, who knew?

Went just hoping to find a few welsh harlequin ducklings or eggs, but I ended up picking up a nice pair of wood ducks and left wishing I had a lot more $$. Total impulse buy. I spent 9 hours when I got home cutting down a few trees, setting up the pen, and lining the chain link pen with chicken wire (I was paranoid they they were small enough to squeeze through the chain link) and covering the top with heavy duty welded wire. My pair of Welsh harlequins disappeared yesterday so I wanted to make sure there was NO shot of that happening with these. That was a job I am not looking forward to doing again when my Mandarins come in. They got a little battered in the dog crate waiting for me to finish but I think they should settle in fine.

Can't wait for the next one. Hopefully the weather will be a bit better.

Thanks everyone! Lol, I came to downsize and brought like 6 or maybe 7 chickens, and came home with 24 chicks!!!!! 1 Dutch roo!!!!! A serama pair (Once again, its 4Kidz's fault lol she just keeps showin them to me)!!!!! and 3 Bobwhite quail!!!!!!! Thanks so much for the support of downsizing you guys! You guys were Giving me stuff! I could't resist! lol. I only had one chick pass away and it was the polish that (I can't remember who gave it to me, but i gave them the asil hen and the EE) was weak and it passed

. Thanks Kelly for the Barred cochin, I've been wanting one forever lol. Who gave me all those chicks lol ( I have a bad memory) but thank you so much they are soooo cute and thanks 4Kidz for the seramas and the 2 cochin mix chicks.
