Verlaj, depending on how long she's been broody, she may accept those new chickies as "hers" and raise them. If she's sat long enough, she may think she hatched them.

I have heard that you can "add" to whatever she would have hatched, as she can raise more than she can incubate.

The 9th sounds good.
