2 Liter soda bottle window.

My porch plans have changed and will not be covered
due to shortage of materials,
Side windows I'll do some other time (ready to get these OEGB out of my house!)
It will have trim around the window and neat door trim (taken from an old photo frame)
around the door. Maybe a triangle piece semi-porch over the door with shingles too.

My dad has been tamping his foot wanting his tools back. Why all the rain?

I would make the chimney a vent in disauise. Better yet, make a ventilated cupola, 4 sides vented, to sit atop the center of the roof. When I built my coop, I allowed 1 sq ft for every 4 chooks. So for my 24 chooks, I allowed 6 sq ft full time above-the-tops-of-the-walls ventilation. Ended up two full length continuous soffit vents, two gable vents and one turbine vent atop roof.

Still working on it. Today was semi-nice.

I changed the direction of the roof so that it could be taller.
I'll put a small storage area still with a faux soda
bottle window/door on the top middle.

Haha when you build from basically leftovers plans change midway.

Haha the roost looks like a crucifix on each side!

Front door. It will have a small simple latch on the inside.

My side doors are complete, just not installed.
Work continues tomorrow, weather permitting.

The back is just screwed on, just remove the perches, and make it bigger later in the back
if the OEGB's have more chicks one day.

Thanks for asking.

This has taken way longer than expected. Between all the rain
and thieves breaking into my garage to steal my scooter it has
robbed me of working on this. I've spent days installing a security
system and more lighting onto the garage instead of playing around
with my chicken hobby. Hopefully I can finish this now.

It is white! I'll install the window, door trim etc when
I do the porch section .

Nestbox liners-Old 1970's rubber backed bath mats cut to size.
Goodwill lady sold me one with a bleach stain for .25

Floor grate for ventilation. I'm not going to paint
the inside top. When I get another large sheet of coroplast
I'll remove the vent and drop a piece in. That way
I'll never have to repaint.

The side triangles are almost done. I'm using
cat litter containers for siding on this. They
are white already.

The siding is plastic bottles. I got so good at it that I'll just sit in front of
the tv and watch a movie and make them without even looking. Bending
the aluminum cans was done with just a simple ruler and didn't take too long.

It really hasn't taken long. I'm guessing 7-8 hours. I work on it a little
between rain storms and waiting for the mud to dry. Some time constraints
are because I have to change my plans because lack of materials. For instance; I wanted
a fake window on each door with a window box to grow some bulbs but, no materials
for that while making them and changing configuration of the roof, losing the covered
porch.

Remember the goal is to make it around 20.00 and have fun.
