Change of plans

So I went in the coop this morning to have coffee with the littles, Phoebe my blue orp came in and started tid bitting for the littles through the wire, then when I came back from running errands I checked the nest boxes and Phoebe pulled some feathers. She is very interested in them and very sweet with them(maybe she'll want to have some Easter chicks)

I love ordering from baker creek, but some of these heirloom seeds are finicky! This is also my second year with the blot peppers too, last year I waited to long and they never matured. This is my 3 year with the aswald eggplant, last year the plant did great, but never produced fruit (once again I waited to long) lol. I'm not playing around this year

Yeah I really struggle with eggplant, our growing season just isn't long enough for it. I got like 1 fruit last year from 2 plants. I went ahead and put my last eggplant seeds under the grow light, and hope to keep them inside and transplant as I go to get them as big as possible, but this might be the last time I bother planting any.

The few blot peppers I did get were good and juicy, no complaints on that front.

They love their mash! When I get home from work and go out to give the ladies their mash, I start talking "well hello ladies", and all the littles started chirping up a storm! So frickin cute❤ Anyway, I am just in love with the lacing on the favacauna

I really can't wait till this weekend! I'm going to let the little out into the run, hoping all goes well I'll also have to get some updated pics of the apricot and fig trees, they're doing awesome!

The littles door has been open since 9am, they have been all over the coop but haven't come out into the run or chicken yard yet. All the ladies have gone in to lay and non seem to care, besides Prue(OE), so far so good! On another good note the first sugar snap pea is up, woot woot!
