They belong to @Magnolia Ducks . You are right she is a Pekin/runner and about 5 days older than the other ones.

Duckling update: The first brown feathers are visible on the wings and sides and i heart somebody starting to »quax« today, ok it was more like an old rusty car horn's honk, but definitely a girl, in the video at 1:03

Just collected today's eggs: There were 15, which means Katharina is back to laying eggs.
And the ducklings are growing little feathers at their ears! And i have two honkers!

Not so little babies anymore, the peep for her mom, but it is enough for them if she answers with a quack. They don't run around her all the time anymore.

I would love to keep them all!
But it depends on how many drakes there are. Best would be 2 drakes and 5 girls, then i have a ratio of 1:5 in the flock. Maximum i could do would be 3 drakes and 4 girls with a ration of 1:3.8 - if the majority of the drakes are gentle and not a**holes like »Erpelchen«. Some of my White Layers have small bald spots in their necks, not sure if they started to molt or if this is »Erpelchen's« wrong doing…
