Quick update: Another two ducklings have hatched overnight, so Katharina has five babies now and she is still sitting on some eggs, let me think, there were nine eggs: Five hatched, one was stinking and buried into the compost, so three remaining eggs. - And there are still five in the nest, Nona and Curiosity did it again!

Anyways, the ducklings are eating and drinking and rolling around:

Entirely unplanned: Usually i clean out the duck-house every day, but Katharina managed to hide two eggs from me and four weeks ago was suddenly sitting. By the end of the week it was nine eggs, then i started to remove the additional eggs. So far five out of nine, one stinker, three remaining plus two additional eggs from Nona and Curiosity that i could not remove, obviously.

My DuckyCam is driving me NUTS! It saves all videos as ".dav" files and when i convert them into ".avi" they have a broken index and i cannot load them into the avidemux program.

Anybody knows a good .dav to .avi converter?

Can't wait to see the little babies! Every time i walk into the house Katharina quacks the alarm and the little ones roll back under Momma.

They grow up so fast. I peeled out little Hare just now. He is drying in the bator but breathing hard and unconscious. Beauregard is still chewing and absorbing and at the wrong end of the egg.
