Ha Ha, these make great brooders!!!!!
My current duck brooder
HEY- don't laugh, it is working great, I had no idea those things would get so big so fast!!!!!!!!!
Can't put a light in it, but inside it is warm enough now.
LOL, I should have touched it when I took the pic so you could see them, they are more than tall enough to look out the window!!!!
There is a sheet in the bottom and pine shavings covering the sheet- when I have to change out the shavings every other day, I just roll up the sheet, dump it in the compost pile, and put the other clean sheet in, put more shavings.
Works way better than I thought it would!! Dorks love the thing, I mean ducks

Lol love it but I lack one of those too lol babying my tiny the terror right now..I think daffy beat him up last night so he's in mommas bed for some tlc...

I think that's fantastic. Use what ya got lying around, the critters don't mind at all. I wish I'd had something to convert, but didn't so I had to build.

Digging through some cookie recipes, trying to decide which to bake to send to my mystery swap partner. Hmmm. Chai spiced almond cookies, and some sort of biscotti I'm thinking. Maybe mocha mac nut dipped in some white chocolate and sprinkled with coconut? Or should I do dark chocolate hazelnut? Which would you guys like?
