Nothing much, I have to study for a big bio test tomorrow, I’m going to try to study for at least an hour. But I’m not even going to try until after supper, I know it won’t go wellWhat’s up!?
Oh awesome! I’ll have to see, my Oma used to have one, I’ll ask if she still does!I do this whenever I clean out the coop. Usually in the spring, but sometimes both spring and fall. My run is like yours; it gets wet at the edges when the rain blows in. The shavings disappear into the dirt/compost in the run. I shovel a bunch out in the spring and put it on my garden. The plants love it!
Making kombucha is easy. If you know someone who brews it near you, ask them for a SCOBY so you can make your own. If you don't know anyone who brews, this link will tell you how to make your own SCOBY:

That's how I made mine, and it's been going for ... um... 6? 7? years now?
If you google "How to brew kombucha at home," there are tons of sites to tell you how. I should post a "how to" on my thread...![]()
Aww man! Hopefully it goes well!! I’m extra hungry today lol and nervous about tomorrow.Nothing much, I have to study for a big bio test tomorrow, I’m going to try to study for at least an hour. But I’m not even going to try until after supper, I know it won’t go well.
What about you?
Looking at your back to see if there's a zipper there. Ummmm... nope! I guess you're not a space alien in disguise.![]()
I want to like celery. It smells so, so, so good. But I think I'm allergic because it's spicy to me. And yes, I know celery is not spicy
I like super salty, crispy bacon. My college had bacon for breakfast almost everyday and it was so good. It was crunchy and salty, and I could add as much salt as I wanted.
I don't really like greasy, fatty bacon unless I can sandwich it
I have a question can I put the wood shavings from in the coop out into the run? They're not really dirty but I was gonna lay new ones down for the next couple months. My runs covered for the most part but the sides get a little muddy when it rains
I’m really nervous yet really excited for tomorrow lol

Thanks!!!I get that a lot.People look at me, I'm sure, the way that I look at people who don't like chocolate or cheese. What even is life without one or both of those?
Celery is one vegetable I definitely don't like. Smell or taste.
Nope, nope, none of it. The texture is awful no matter how it's cooked, and no matter what kind I've tried for the seasoning or smoke it all just tastes straight up gross, gross, gross. It doesn't even smell that great
This is what I do for most of my coops as well.
Good luck! What kind of bio are you being tested on?
Well that sounds fun.Btw it’s not another appointment lol it’s a fundraiser for the clubhouse. Italian dinner. All homemade lol and a raffle and music, etc.
There will be chicken parm, eggplant parm, meatballs and sauce, pasta, plus salad, cookies, and rolls.
Plus TONS of cool prizes for the raffle. Lol
I’m hoping it will be! I’m just nervous because I’m helping with it and I want it to go well hah we have like 95 people going now. Including my dad and his fiancée and Rick and his dad.Well that sounds fun.
Like biology, if that’s what you mean?Good luck! What kind of bio are you being tested on?
