The power’s out at my school rn and they haven’t sent us home yet. It’s been out for 30+ minutes

Late to respond, but oh my goodness! I hope that either the power came back on or you were able to go home safely.

You'll definitely bring some home. It might be a dinner, not sure really. Everyone is there for the birds either way, so I don't think the dinner will be the highlight. I have the exact same feelings for Cruella, not sure how it's going to go!

Haha, we'll see! Every year I am super tempted by a lot in the sales barn, but have been able to resist every time so far! They're starting a day early expecting a lot more birds for the 150th anniversary thing, though, so there might not be anything left by the time I get there. I'm going on Saturday and it's apparently opening on Thursday instead of Friday like usual this year.

Unfortunately no, we had to stay all day. The power came back like an hour before the end of the day.

I have no advice for you. I tend to be the type that kinda smiles and nods and then changes the subject ASAP, but that doesn't always work of course. Hoping your visit was otherwise pleasant, or at the very least was not too painfully long.
