It's been pretty mild here lately, but yesterday was looking like the last really nice day for a bit, so I got it done while I knew I could. Definitely feeling all that work this morning!

Haha, no worries, I do that all the time! I have a bad habit of reading posts and thinking I'll definitely respond to that later... and then it's gone out of my brain as soon as I click off the page.

There was something I wanted to do to the run, and now I'll be doing it with chilled fingers. Should have just done it yesterday. Or the day before, or the day before!
I hope to some day have a setup for my birds that alleviates a lot of the winterizing work, though, like a Woods style barn where you just have to close part of the windows and you're done 
...Not that I've thought about that in great detail many times before or anything.

Yeah you're just a couple hours north of me, so our weather is probably pretty similar--though I imagine y'all get a lot more snow than us here being so close to the lakes!
