Thankfully for us winterizing just means making sure the tarps don't have any holes in them, and placing planks for roosts instead of cylindrical roosts
For me, it's hanging tarps and shower curtains on their runs for wind and snow protection, stapling feed bags over some windows in coops to block wind from the perches while still allowing some ventilation, finding and cleaning out the black rubber bowls for below-freezing water dishes, preparing the dropping trays for upcoming freezing weather, and cleaning out the bedding in the coops and replacing it with fresh.
Yeah, I don’t have birds anymore so it’s nice but I miss them
