They are commonly referred to as trees, but they aren't woody like a true tree, their 'trunk' is actually stiffened leaf stems. They're more closely related to... I want to say ginger? Than to anything else. Weird group of plants.
Sounds good! I do like grapes and strawberries, though. I think our usual fruit salad (that my sister makes with the dressing) is banana, apple, grape, and strawberry. Strawberries are better sliced up on their own with just a tiny sprinkle of sugar and lemon juice, I think.

I loooove a good cake! I'm indifferent about birthdays, themselves, though. I don't like to have a lot of attention on me so I don't really talk about mine much, but they don't necessarily bother me otherwise.

The other cakes you made were adorable, too! If I was closer, I'd definitely order a cake from you! My birthday's already passed this year, but who needs a special reason for cake, right?
I think people would be more willing to share if you were a bit more open about what you're doing with this info. What kind of school project are you working on?
For the record, I do have two threads for my flocks, but I also have a page linked in my signature about my birds with their names, breeds, ages, etc. that would probably be easier to look at for that info rather than trying to dig through my posts.
I haven't updated it in a while, though, so the birds I hatched this year aren't up on it yet and a couple of the birds still listed have since passed on.
