My dad pulled up a recipe for some kind of concoction that included hydrogen peroxide and I don't remember what else. No tomato juice in our case, though.
It's amazing how well skunk smell penetrates. We usually have our windows all closed at night, but if a skunk sprays anywhere nearby, not even on or around the house but out in the woods, you can smell it in the house anyway.
I've never lived in the city, but we've got a ton of wildlife where I live! Just going out to feed the chickens in the morning, I often see rabbits, squirrels, robins, chipmunks, and deer. Often all in the same morning! There are raccoons that like to come out and play in my chickens' water dishes every night I forget to empty them at coop closing.

And sitting here at my computer I've spotted various warblers and other songbirds hopping through the branches just outside the window right by my couch.
