Chat Thread for the New Crazy 24 hour Auction

29 happy healthy Seramas. I can't stay away from them. Every time I walk by, I have to stop and watch them for a few minutes.
That's an impressive serama hatch! So cute

OK, Ancona duckling auction going this weekend. I'm sorting through them tonight or tomorrow morning. They're eating too much to stay any longer

In case anyone is ever in need of DNA sexing for eggshells I found a great (and cheap) place to get it done

Bird Biotech America in Florida does DNA eggshell testing for $8.00 a sample

I am so glad I found this place because I was paying $20.00 somewhere else and it really starts to add up!

Shipped a Sebbie eggshell priority this morning for $5.25 plus $8.00 for sexing gives me a total cost of $13.25 to sex my babies. Plus larger hatches I could send all my eggshells in 1 box and really get that cost down to under $9.00 a bird. NOT TO SHABBY!!!!

I love biotech. Have been using them for years to sex my parrots but never knew they did eggs. That's great!

Look what I just stumbled across. If you order 1000 plastic egg trays from China, they're 10 cents each. That gives you an idea of how much stuff gets marked up by the time it gets to retail.

EDIT: The link redirected. Let me see if I can find another way to get there.

EDIT AGAIN: The best I can do is a pic. They look like the Kuhl trays.
