Cute! Thanks for sharing.

Congrats on the auction! I have to say I am glad you won this time because right after I bid, I remembered that my incubator is full for another 2 weeks

. Feverishly thinking I had to get another one asap when you put in the winning bid

Thank you! It was a sudden urge, not thinking about the room I have either! Lol! Luckily I have 2 incubators!!!

Well, I set all the shipped eggs I have already received - all from Ebay sellers. I had room for the 6 eggs that MIGHT be fertile from my eggs. I was 1 egg short of a full incubator, so the egg o meter went in.

But I have GardenWren's eggs and TJ's eggs on their way. So, time to fire up a second incubator!

What incubators do you have?

I have 2 Brinsea 40's, 1 LG with a fan, and 1 Incuview that failed on my last hatch. I haven't taken it apart yet to see what's wrong.

These eggs went into one of the Brinsea's. My second Brinsea is currently at a friend's house. She just finished her hatch, If I get that back, I'll use it to set the eggs I'm getting tomorrow and Friday. If not, they will go into the LG.

I have to confess that this morning, I ordered a Brinsea 20. I'd love to have my daughter's class hatch some eggs, and the 40 is just too big and bulky and more than they would need. The 20 is still more than they need, but much easier than the 40. I like them because of the humidity pump. They are almost idiot proof. Which I need, since I"m HORRIBLE at keeping humidity steady at lock down. I have forgotten to fill the resevoir a few times. So, that's why it's ALMOST idiot proof.

Did you get an Eco or a new Ovation? I'm curious how the new Ovations are.

I have a friend that got the Ovation, but returned it, but then regretted returning it. She said it was kind of bulky. I never actually saw it.

The Ovation seemed too much like my LG in set up. I love the baskets in the 20 and 40 that allow me to skip the rails and just stagger the eggs. That's how I get 63 eggs in instead of 40. The Ovation has a normal turner that you set the eggs in to, unlike the cradle on the 20 and 40 that tips the entire incubator. Plus, I was looking for something smaller than the 40, but bigger than the Eco.

I love my Ecos but I'm kinda gun-shy after my turner broke like it did. I'm now afraid it'll do it while it's full of eggs, which scares me.
