Does anyone have marans eggs they would auction or sell? I'm looking to get a dozen for a friend's birthday.
Prices definitely went up last year!I have been scanning ebay a bit lately - is it just me, or are hatching eggs going for ridiculously high prices?
My prices are still the same even though feed went up $2 per bag.I have been scanning ebay a bit lately - is it just me, or are hatching eggs going for ridiculously high prices?
Basic layer feed, here, (Nor Cal) went up almost $5 per bag! I had sticker shock yesterday. My prices are still the same even though feed went up $2 per bag.
Locally I sell FBCM eggs for $35 per dozen and Ameraucana eggs for $30 per dozen. I really don’t care what others charge as long as I can make it work on my end.

A local feed guy I promised to try just messaged me that he's raised his prices a few bucks/bag. I reordered a tote for this time as none of the tote prices have changed yet from any of my suppliers. I'd love to buy local, but it would cost me almost double and not be organic or soy free which a few of my clients have to have. I'm holding my breath to see what happens to tote prices this year.Basic layer feed, here, (Nor Cal) went up almost $5 per bag! I had sticker shock yesterday.
