Probably the vast majority of that post on these forums would. It's really, really sad to see how animals are treated. There was a documentary shown on PBS in late June about commercial chicken production and how Tyson treated its farmers. It was really awful to see the lives those poor birds lived in factory farms, and frankly, the farmers weren't treated a whole lot better by the company.

Thanks - It really does work great!
I have 2 other cages that are bigger then this one that I'll fix up. We're going to town in a few minutes so when we go I'll get some more supplys.\\
Another problem I had before we made this cage was they would scratch their bedding into their water and feed, now they can not do that! The only time I have to open the door is to gather eggs.

My mom wanted to make it a two story house so they could run up & down I'm just going ...

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy :

Here is a cage my mom and I made yesterday afternoon! It took us all afternoon to make it, but man was it worth it!

It is the perfect cage! We have 2 other dog cages that we're going to fix up like this one.

We sewed the screwn wire on to the cage with waxed thread used for leather sewing. Let me know what you think!

GOOD WORK! Is the blue one in the 6th picture a "button quail"? And is a button quail the same as chinese quail? Are they alike, if they aren't the same? How about size wise? Just wondering, my daughter wants a chinese quail.

I guess a bird that small wouldn't have that much poo, huh? I'm glad to see their space is a good size. I also have issues with chicken "factories" and even "dog breeders".

"Button Quail" & "Chinese Quail" are the same thing.

I agree with quailladyoffortmyers
1. Button Quail (Chinese Blue Breast Quail) do best in the pairs.
2. They don't need a lot of room. I have tried every type of cage possible for these quail and mine are happier in the smaller cages and safer too as they can't get up to a high enough speed to hurt them themselves if they get scared. My cages are very similar to the ones in the photo.
3. Mrs. Fluff Lets this bird roam the room so it is not going without extra exercise.
