Oooh guys! This all reminded me of something I saw on Facebook a while back! Definitely pertains to us, methinks.

There are so many on there that I love.... Brie, mozzarella, gouda... It's all making me crave cheese now. Only Brie and gouda are pretty pricey when you're on a budget.

All I could get to this weekend was some cheddar. It'll do, but it's not a favourite.

That jalepeno dip sounds like something these... ehh, housemates (

) of mine would enjoy. Have you got a recipe?

I just clipped it out of a newspaper. Lemee see if I can remember...super easy...1 brick softened cream cheese, 1 cup shredded cheddar (I used sharp), 1 cup mayonnaise (don't use miracle whip...it's a waste of air), 1/4 yellow mustard, 1- 4 oz. can diced jalapenos (drained), or you can chop some fresh. Mix with mixer, & pop it in the oven on 375 for 20 mins. Mmm......

What's amazing is that a few years ago I realized that EVERY food that exists is better with some form of milk based product: Cheese, butter, cream, etc. I challenge people to find a food that isn't better with some form of milk, cream, butter, or cheese!

Interesting. Gosh, 3 years ago, I ran across something that I thought would rock with cheese melted on top; after I got the cheese melted & stated to eat it, it was disgusting. But I can't for the life of me remember what that was...must have pushed it out of my gray matter (Freudian slip?)

It must have been a nightmare since there isn't anything in the world that is not better with cheese, cream, or button on top!

Rob, I agree. I've been thinking of things that won't work well with some dairy added and I can't come up with anything... Hang on, got something: baked beans

I hate baked beans... There isn't a thing you can do to improve baked beans.

Wyn, someone made me made a dish one day, a pile up of something and something else, I think there was some tinned fish in there somewhere as well, with melted cheese on top

That was seriously vile.
